魔金石空间于2008年成立于中国北京。
中文“魔金石”，有磨砺、磨炼之含义，是一种“反思”与“检视”。英文Magician，则带有魔幻、变化莫测的意味，代表更多的“可能性”。
魔金石空间始终坚持从自身的语境出发，以反思的姿态介入当下的社会生态。我们聚焦于艺术家的个体实践，力求为艺术家提供一个严肃、开放、实验性的平台，并通过广泛而深入的研究，系统地梳理艺术家的工作。
魔金石空间一直尝试跨越艺术机制的既定边界，营造一个拥有更多可能性的空间，一个有态度的空间，并为公众提供一个不一样的观看、接近、参与当代艺术的窗口。
Magician Space was established in Beijing, China, in 2008.
In Chinese, mojinshi is a homonym to “magician”. Referring to the gesture of sharpening and strengthening, it also carries the connotations of reflection and examination. Meanwhile, magician, in English, is an entity that works with enchantment and unpredictability, and therefore evokes new possibilities.
Since its establishment, Magician Space has been a reflective participant in the contemporary art community. Focusing on artists’ individual practices, Magician Space seeks to provide artists with an experimental and open platform. Through in-depth research, it documents and studies contemporary artists’ works.
Magician Space strives to break down the existing boundaries of the art world. By creating an open space with fluid possibilities and a unique attitude, Magician Space offers the public a different experience of viewing, understanding, and participating in contemporary art.

The 2021 Art Shenzhen will be held as scheduled in Hall 6 of Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from September 9 to September 12, 2021. The exhibition will bring together 72 top galleries and professional art institutions from 28 cities in 12 countries around the world. Among these attendants, 26 galleries will be bringing brand-new artistic aesthetic experiences to the public at Art Shenzhen for the first time. 2021 Art Shenzhen is looking forward to your participation with more attendant galleries, more exhibition sections and more academic content!
