In the old days, there were many handicrafts in our life. A bowl,a pair of chopsticks, a table and a chair......most of the things in our life are made by the skilled craftsmen.

现在的日子只争朝夕，人被潮流推着走，科技与机械代替了大部分手作，那些浸润着岁月的手工艺品，渐渐便难得一见。在深圳观澜湖手艺工场，有这样一群人，他们坚持着最传统的方式打磨器物，一针一线，一刨一锯，让属于传统的美好持续发生，用有温度的手作传递生活美学态度：慢一点，其实更美。

Nowadays, people are pushed by the trend.Technology and machinery have replaced most of the handicrafts. Handicrafts impregnated by time are gradually becoming rare.

观澜湖手艺工场，被称为深圳的“私人订制”大楼，整栋楼面积4300平方米，是国内面积最大、种类最全、设备最精良的O2O手工体验坊，是手工艺者们心中的“乌托邦”。

The Art & Crafts Factory, with an area of4300 square meters, is the largest, most complete and well-equipped O2O manual experience workshop in China. For the craftsmen,here is the"Utopia".

大楼的一层是国内最大单店的手工艺精品店，为手艺人提供了展示空间。从第二层开始，就进入了手艺人的天堂，木艺、皮艺、陶艺、纸艺、布艺、金工、玻璃、小手工、雅集等九大门类的手艺体验室分布在二至四层。每一层，都仿佛打开了一个新世界。今天的“深圳有滋味”，就带您打开其中两个奇妙世界。

The first floor of the building is the largest handicraft boutique in China, which provides exhibition space for craftsmen.

Startfrom the second floor, you enter the paradise of handicrafts. Nine different kinds of craft experience studios, including wood, leather, ceramics, paper art, cloth art, metalworking, glass, and so on, are distributed from the second to the fourth floors. Each floor seems to open up a new world. Today,we will show you two of them.

也许你吹过肥皂泡，吹过气球，但是你吹过玻璃吗？在二楼的一角，藏着一家吹玻璃的体验坊。这里是华南地区首个面向大众及专业人士开放的吹玻璃体验坊，工坊专门从德国引进了全套吹制热熔设备，现场也有专业的老师在一旁指导。

Perhaps you've blown the soap bubble and balloon, but have you ever triedglass blowing? In the corner of the second floor, there is a Glass Blowing Experience Workshop. This is the first glass blowing experience workshop opens to the public and professionals in Southern China. The workshop has a full set of blowing hot-melt equipment from Germany. Professional teachers will guide you to make a glass artwork safely.

吹玻璃的历史可追溯到2000年前的叙利亚，当时的工匠发明了玻璃吹制术。到了公元前1000年，古埃及人在原有的工艺上进行了改进，可以吹制出多种形状的玻璃产品。后来的罗马人也学会了这种方法，并在征服过程中把它传播到了整个西欧。

The history of glass blowing can be traced back to Syria 2000 years ago, when galss blowing is invernted by craftsmen.

By 1000 BC, the ancient Egyptians improved the original technology and glass products could be blown in various shap.After then, Romans also learned this technique and spread it throughout the Western Europe in the process of conquest.

从事玻璃制作20多年的胡国强老师手把手教我们完成玻璃吹制的全过程，从选色、挑料、吹泡，到塑形、退火，每一个步骤都要小心翼翼。高温炉火下，也掩不住胡国强老师眼中热爱的光。

GuoqiangHu, who has been engaged in glass making for more than20 years, teaches us the whole process of glass blowing hand in hand, includingcolor selection, material selection, blowing, shaping and annealing. Even the high-temperature fire could not melt Hu's affection of his career.

衣食住用融入智慧匠心。看着一团液体逐渐在自己手中打磨成型，变成晶莹剔透的杯子，冰冷的玻璃，注入温热的茶水，开始有了不同的意义。

Watching a ball of liquid gradually shape into a crystal clear cup, it begins to have a different meaning.

玻璃还可以用来拼画，制作者的耐心不可缺少。一块块指甲盖儿大小般的色彩玻璃块，通过不同的排列组合，就能变成一副独属于你的画作。

Glass can also be used for making Mosaic picture.Pieces of small colored glass can make a Mosaic picture through different permutations and combinations.

与玻璃工坊一门之隔的是金工体验坊。自制首饰比不上闪耀精致的大牌首饰，但因为加入了自己的心思，即使不够完美，反而更显珍贵。

Next to the Glass-making studio lies the Metal studio. Although the homemade jewelry is not as good as the sparkling, polished designer jewelry,it is more precious because it adds maker's own mind.
