Student Howard Diary:
Today is the first day of our 2-weeks summer camp in oxbridgeIn this morning,we had some time to adapt and take a look around the campus,given an opportunity to shop at stores.
Afterwards, we headed for lunch in the hotel, where had sandwiches and crisps.
We all headed towards our classes for the first time, where we were met by Ms. (),
who was 20 years-old graduate of Cambridge and answer all our questions.
She started off in the first 45 minutes by introducing herself and getting to know more about us.
Then we went into the backyard of the school, where i got stung by a insect.
In the second class, She talked about what we need to do specifically to get into oxbridge,
not by knowing a lot about the subject, but wanting to know a lot of the subject.
In the third class, we discussed the problems around the world that we wanted to help solve,
which was also very helpful for getting into university because demonstrating the willingness to learn and engage with the world around you is an important trait for university admissions.
After classes, we returned to the Hotel for a short rest before having time to walk around the campus.
This campus wasn’t like anyone i’ve been to before.
I really like how large and lush it is, with the sun setting at around 9 o’clock.There was a park there,
a huge park where animals flocked. There were deers in the woods and swans in the river.
